Important swelling of the left Achilles tendon is noted without evidence of intrasubstance tear in keeping with tendinosis. Excessive, hypervascular peritendinitis is also noted. The retrocalcaneal bursa shows wall thickening and isoechogenic fluid content without hypervascularity in keeping with chronic bursitis.
